Love poems & verse.

TOO FAR.

Too far by me to you obey

Much my heart it must convey

We’ll find each other soon do pray

Until that day please do not stray.

I’ve searched for you for years to find

Come now to me my soul is kind

Do not forget me be not blind

Our lives together we must bind.

Reach out to me across the sea

Across the world so vast to me

And when we find ourselves we’ll be

Not two but one forever we

A GLANCE, A GAZE.

A glance, a gaze

Hearts ablaze

Seduction under moonlit rays.

Helplessly both we beguiled

By beauty’s power no denial.

Eyes reveal what is shared

Deep desires laid out bared.

Whisper sweet with wishes hear

Passion urges yearn sincere.

A glance, a gaze

Our night we save

Lust and love in myriad ways.

A LOVE NOTE.

Swirling flames gush from the soothing sun, channeling eye-bound popping pools of dawning light. From cradle-armed wisps of now nearing wind the quiet surge of God’s black castles sprinkle subtle tender strands of heaven’s tears; and the gently washed earth sings with distant music of a now blued sky.

All around, the dreamy confusion of freshly cleansed color and newly aroused sound rivers into my sleeping soul and, like a new-born life, awakens it.

This splashing warmth cannot be taken in a glance, in a moment. This earthly sweet, this breathing fresh is within each moment an entire world, an entire life.

And yet, that moment is infinitesimally small and of no concern.

My totality, my sum, my all is you … is you … is you …

A WORD A KISS.

May we exchange a word?

I believe it’s you I heard.

I thought I heard you speak.

From the darkness of my sleep.

Letters may we write.

To ourselves keep in sight.

Our futures may they meet.

The past will then retreat.

On phones may we call?

Keep away the silent wall.

May we share a tweet?

On this I do entreat.

Or shall our lips communicate?

In this way fully sate.

A MEMORY, A MIST.

A memory, a mist:

Someone I kissed.

A memory, a mist:

Someone I miss.

A memory, a mist

Life gone amiss.

A memory, a mist

Of dreams, not of bliss.

A memory, a mist

Of hope come to this.

ACROSS THE WORLD.

Too far by me to you obey

Much my heart it must convey

We’ll find each other soon do pray

Until that day please do not stray.

I’ve searched for you for years to find

Come now to me my soul is kind

Do not forget me be not blind

Our lives together we must bind.

Reach out to me across the sea

Across the world so vast to me

And when we find ourselves we’ll be

Not two but one forever we

ASSAULT.

To me you assaulted

With love so exalted.

To you I submitted.

I had to admit it.

You so emboldened,

My heart you have stolen.

Emotion was helpless.

You not so selfless.

My life I endow

Yours forever now.

Not steady nor strong.

Now to you I belong.

CUPID

Cupid! Cupid!

Pierce me with your arrow!

Fill me with passionate,

Uncontrollable desire.

Make me feel alive!

Impart to me erotic love

For the woman who attracts me!

Cupid! Cupid!

Use your power upon me.

Make me insane with the

Emotion of life!

Not the apathy of all others.

Cupid! Cupid!

CLEOPATRA

You will never return.

Forever gone.

Cleopatra! I was deeply,

Desperately in love with you!

But you gave your heart to another!

Now yourself you have killed —

Murdered, died.

Suicide.

We grew up together,

Promised to betroth.

But you betrayed me!

For the love of another.

Death you have chosen —

The lips of two snakes.

And I am left to grieve —

Egyptian heart to bleed.

DOES AN ELECTRON FEEL LOVE?

Does an electron feel love?

What does a boson do for company?

What do quarks do to socialize?

Am I a neutron?

They travel fast.

From galaxy to galaxy.

Out of sight.

Out of mind.

Am I an electron, boson, or quark?

Am I an entity only to be seen in a participial accelerator?

Where are the others?

Where is love?

Am I lonely?

Am I only an algorithm? A mathematical formula? A quadratic equation?

Where is my love in this universe?

Is my destiny loneliness?

A planet full of people.

Where is “my one and only?”

Am I only a half-defined statement in quantum mechanics?

Where is my other half?

Where is my love?

Where is my “you” in this universe?

EMOTION HAS DIED.

Emotion has died

Because you have lied.

Misled the intent,

Now I lament.

I do not provide

The love you denied.

My heart is now closed.

This you have chose.

All hope is extinct.

All indistinct.

Go now and hide.

This I decide.

My future not yours

Another adores.

Emotion alone.

Heart made of stone.

ENDLESS TIME.

I dream of you through endless time.

Hoping you will soon be mine.

To us your love will always shine.

Your heart and mine an endless rhyme.

You this moment are my chime.

Our moment now a perfect prime.

ENCHANTRESS

Enchantress to you I turn.

Lovely features I discern.

I a flower to your sun.

Your prettiness over all you’ve won.

Your eyes do mesmerize.

Your lips are quite the prize.

Enchantress, you are bold.

Let me kiss, caress and hold.

My sweet and pedaled rose,

Drops of dew upon repose.

Allow me you feel my heart:

Close to you and not apart.

This special night our arms around:

Enchantress, love, to you I’m bound.

FANTASIZING KISSING YOU.

Fantasizing kissing you,

You your soul and life so true.

Desirous heart for you is new.

To you I wish to say, “I do.”

A dream together, just us two.

This night our love in total view.

Our passion full we shall imbue.

FOREORDAINED.

Reaching you across the earth.

Our love is now our birth.

Calling you across the world.

Our flags of life unfurled.

Together foreordained.

Blessed by heaven’s gentle rain.

Our lives entwined as knotted vines.

Intoxicatingly lovely wines.

To each are destined we.

Impervious to raging sea.

Finding you across the earth.

More than life and death our future’s worth.

HEARTS WITHIN DO QUIET HOLD.

Hearts within do quiet hold

Heaven words that do not scold

Our lust together never cold

Lips and fingers touching bold.

Lustful love is what we wanted

Tenderly to us it haunted

Passion kisses gently taunted

Deep desire never daunted.

Lustful love is all the night

Our nakedness so pure in sight

Souls in holy marriage right

Our sacredness so full and ripe.

I SAW YOU TALKING TO SOMEONE ELSE

I saw you talking to someone else.

“No,” I said but not to you.

“No,” I said to me.

“Don’t be full of jealousy.”

I saw you smile at someone else.

“No,” I said as I turned away.

Please, do not let us betray.

I saw you gaze pleasingly into those eyes.

“No,” I said but not to you.

“No,” I said to me myself.

“I’ll give you all my love itself.”

I saw you whisper words so dear.

My heart in anguish shed its tears.

I VISUALIZE YOU AS AN ARTIST WOULD.

I visualize you as an artist would:

Natural curving lines as in a natural tree of wood.

I see you as a painter does with gels:

In dark patterns and pastels.

I imagine you not in artificiality

But in carnality.

Not with clothes

But in prose.

I adore you in your natural state:

Which as an artist I want to recreate.

I see you nude,

For that I have gratitude.

I see you as a lover does a lover:

As one without a hypocritical cover.

I love you for who and what you are:

Not from afar but as a star.

I am in love with the natural you.

Both of us flowers sprinkled with dew.

I KISSED YOU.

I kissed your lips when I awoke.

Your lovely hair my finger stroked.

I touched you close in morning light.

Your flesh so smooth, a pure delight.

Your hands on me so warm and soft.

Your passioned eyes to mine betrothed.

In morning light our naked souls

Made love within embracing pose.

I HAVE NO REGRET.

I have no regret.

You I forget.

My future is mine.

Without you so fine.

Do what you will.

It’ your bitter pill.

Together we’re not —

No longer a knot.

I have no regret

Forever as yet.

I WANT TO BE IN LOVE YET NOT

I want to be in love yet not.

The serious issues of the world.

How do they compete

With falling in love?

Is falling in love more important than

Refugees with no home?

Immigrants wanting a better life?

Ethnics murdered killed?

I want to be in love yet not.

The world needs more than

My measly personal desires.

So, fuck my personal personal love life.

The world needs more than this.

I want to be in love yet not.

I have work to do

To try to improve this world of ours.

How?

IT DOES NOT MATTER

It does not matter

It does not matter where you live

Apartment alone room house mates

They do not matter

Its why and how you do it

Your outer shell of life

A room somewhere

A car somewhere

A tv somewhere

A computer screen somewhere

A phone somewhere

It does not matter how you face

Your perceived reality

Your wanted reality

It’s the reality of reality

Nature

God

Your weaknesses

Vulnerabilities

Alone

Even with others

Desperate for validation for the likes and loves

From face book

Honey please look at me in real in person

I love you

I am in love with you.

I WAS MISTAKEN.

I was mistaken.

By you I forsaken.

In you I believed.

Now I’m relieved.

Our lives were entwined,

As tender as vines.

Our lives were once one.

Now two have begun.

Go now, my sweet.

N’er more shall we meet.

In life or in death

Until our last breath.

I WISH OUR LOVE TO LIVE AGAIN.

I wish our love to live again.

I come before to begin.

My heart with you to be so full:

A home, a hearth, a vestibule.

I wish ourselves to be anew:

To you I promise and I do.

I wish for us in holy vow.

I pray for that to be somehow.

Yet my love you do not seek.

Your eye does another meet.

I wish ourselves to love again:

Blind to all except our end.

I LONG FOR YOU!

I look at you; you’re not aware.

Your eyes, lips, lovely hair.

I glance as you walk,

Wishing we could stop and talk.

I long for you and wish to meet,

Your soul mate deep and yours to keep.

Oh, may we share but just one kiss?

Our lips so gentle no remiss.

I yearn for you — you notice not:

My heart, til you, an empty spot.

I GAZE INTO YOUR EYES.

I gaze into your eyes, windows to your soul.

Ourselves as one.

Ourselves embraced.

I gaze into your eyes, panes of colored glass.

Candle light and stars, embers bright.

I gaze into your eyes, windows to the world.

My love, my love!

I gaze into your eyes, so deep, serene.

You, my life, my future sweet.

IN SYNC

You want hearts in sync.

Love not red but pink.

Love not deep.

Weep.

Souls as one.

For each as none.

Your lives intertwine.

As if building a shrine

Gilded gold.

Over mold.

Until death do you part?

Were you so smart?

Your love forever.

Tricking destiny your endeavor.

LET US REACH.

To each unyielding let us reach:

Overcome this chasm breach.

To me tonight, oh, do come close,

This moment’s all to do the most.

Let our hearts to each do touch.

Passioned heat for us so much.

Our holy bodies we will share:

Gently in our bed to care.

Oh, on me caress so dear:

Your bosom full and not austere.

Relinquish and ourselves submit –

Our sex and love to each commit.

LOVE. #4.

The sun, the earth, the sky, and you.

The color of your eyes a hue

Of gold and yellow, green, and blue.

Your hands and cheeks and lips so soft.

Our flesh so close and tight, embossed!

Our beating hearts excited high, soaring, yes, aloft!

The moon, the stars, their light, and you.

This night, this bed so full and true.

To nowhere else do we rendezvous.

LOVE?

Is continually thinking of someone love?

When all you see is that person and not the sky above?

Is wanting always to be someone love?

Believing that you and someone fit like a glove?

Is it simple that which we call love?

Or knotted and tied and handled tough?

LOVE AT FIRST TYPE.

It was love at first type.

Dating site.

We were not bored.

Using keyboard.

We did chat.

Using an app.

It was love at first type.

It was no hype.

Then phone.

And it was known.

We met.

It was love at first sight.

Love at first type.

From a dating site.

SUN, SKY, EARTH, AND YOU.

The sun, the sky, the earth, and you,

The colors of your eyes a hue:

Of blue and green, brown and blue.

Your hands and cheeks and lips so soft

I want to hold you high, aloft.

Our flesh so close and tight, embossed.

The moon, the stars, your eyes, and you

Moves me to a rendezvous.

You and I forever new.

LOVE IS …

Love is elusive

Yet effusive.

Love is fleeting

Not cheating.

Love’s no illusion

But is a welcomed intrusion.

Love’s no mirage

But comes in camouflage.

Love’s transparent

Never errant.

But for me that emotion

From you is no devotion.

NOTHIING IN COMMON.

We once had much in common,

Laughing as we stared.

Now this is where we’ve gotten.

Strangers without care.

“Out of sight, out of mind.”

That saying is so true.

To each we are the blind.

To this our lives accrue.

I wish we had our share of time.

Instead of hearts apart.

No longer do we say, “your mine.”

To others we now start.

We have nothing now in common.

Our lives go each their way.

This is where we’ve gotten.

No words are left to say.

OF YOU I HAVE A MEMORY..

Of you I have a memory.

Northing contemporary.

Of you I remember

Being with me so tender.

Where are you now, my love?

Where are now?

Of you I have an image in the past.

I wonder how long that will last.

Of you I had deep and such moments,

I fantasized about elopement.

Where are you now, my love?

Where are you now?

I wish you would to me return.

My heart for you its flame will always burn.

OH, MY LOVE!

Oh, my love!

Are you happy? Are you sad?

Dreams of you this night I had.

Awoke I did run to you.

Midnight moon with cold of dew.

Oh, my love! Come hold my hand.

Caress and touch our wedding band.

Oh, my love! Where have you gone?

This night is long until the dawn.

Oh, my love!

Are you happy? Are you sad?

I dream our love we both once had.

TOO FAR THE OTHER TO OBEY. .

Too far the other to obey

Much my heart it must convey

We’ll find each other soon do pray

Until that day please not stray.

I’ve searched for you for years to find

Come now to me my soul is kind

Do not forget me be not blind

Our lives together we must bind.

Reach out to me across the sea

Across the world so vast to me

And when we find ourselves we’ll be

Not two but one forever we.

TO FALL IN LOVE — CLICHÉ.

To fall in total love — cliché

I want it all to go away.

Yearning love is simply waste

Go now go in rapid haste.

Emotion in my heart again?

Hope eternal has no end.

Fall in love is what I wish?

Fall not lonely into abyss.

And yet in love is what I pray

But hurt me not nor lead astray.

To fall in love is no cliché

Take me now to show the way.

TOGETHER WE.

Together we and holding hands.

Let us go to foreign lands.

Together we across the miles.

We shall dance with many smiles.

Together we the world is ours.

Through sun’s good warmth and lovely showers.

Together we with hearts so full.

The world’s our bed, our home, and ours to rule.

WISHING WELL

Love is a wishing well.

Toss coins for a spell.

Careful what you wish for.

You’ll be left for poor.

The water reflects.

Your image deflects.

Well wants more.

Helpless to ignore.

Empty your purse.

The well is perverse.

You will not leave.

And you will grieve.

Love is a wishing well.

Giving you a knell.

WHEN YOUR EYES LOOKED AT MINE SMILING.

When your eyes looked at mine smiling

Their colors soft beguiling,

My heart for you was yearning,

My love for you bright burning.

My passion fills and flows to you

Desire deep your love to woo.

Your lips touch mine and did not stop

I swayed and swooned but stayed my spot.

Your arms around did me embrace,

Kissing all your lovely face.

So close so warm our flesh in bound

We both went gently to the ground.

And there upon that grass and dew

Our love we made full moon in view.

WHAT IS THE NEXT DAY?

What is the next day?

Will it say?

When I awake anew,

Will there be you?

What is tomorrow?

Will there be sorrow?

What will the future be?

Will there be you and me?

Will fortune tell me please?

Will I be at ease?

WHEN WE FIRST MET.

When we first met,

there was not enough of you.

                    not enough time for you.

I was held rapt with you.

A few words, a whispered giggle, a smile.

When we parted for a minute or an hour,

a text was too brief and hollow.

A photo shared made me miss you all the more.

When we first met,

                    nothing compared with you.

                    beautiful.

                    lovely.

                    sweet.

When we first met,

I fell in love with you.

I am in love with you.

YOUR SMILE HAD CAPTURED ME.

 Your smile had captured me.

Your eyes left me breathlessly.

Your gentle voice flowed soft and sweet.

Oh, that was better than a tweet!

When you laughed it made me fall.

You had me, yes, you did enthrall!

You did not much to make me love,

To yearn, to hold you high above!

Passion I knew not before we met.

Now I dream and wake, never to forget.

Come to me! Come to me! Come to me now!

Embrace and kiss and whisper, “yes,” and I will give to you my only vow.
